LeBron Told Jeff Teague He Had 'Figured Out' the Hawks at the 2015 All-Star Game and Then Swept Atlanta in the Eastern Conference Finals
This seems like some pretty big talk from LeBron James to a team full of All-Stars that had been beating his ass all season. And Jeff Teague said this conversation took place at the All-Star Game in February, just a couple months before the NYPD broke Thabo Sefalosha's ankle in an incident he had nothing to do with and took him out for the rest of the season. People are asking if LeBron knew what was to come.
I'm sure there are still some that happen every now and then, but I stopped believing in coincidences a long time ago. Would James have made those comments if he knew the Hawks were still going to have their Lebron Stopper in the playoffs? Hmm.
I'm sure sweeping a series against the Hawks was, in fact, pretty easy when you could just switch LeBron James onto Jeff Teague every possession and go to work. That calculus changes a little bit with one of the best defenders in the NBA on the floor. Seems like someone you'd really want out of the picture if you were in LeBron's shoes.
I am officially declaring the Atlanta Hawks 2015 Eastern Conference champions and will be looking more into what LeBron may or may not have known about the NYPD's disgusting actions.
