Investigative Journalism: A Reddit User (Who Has Been Right Before) Claims Ja'Marr Chase Has A New Contract, Will Be Announced Some Point Today
I don't know who Isayfujobu is, but the man is out here doing it for love of the game. Posting on Reddit and not breaking it on Twitter? That's not someone trying to make a name, he's just addicted to breaking news. He did it before
Can't say anyone would be surprised. Remember what the Bengals did with Joe Burrow a year ago?
You got the Chiefs playing the Ravens tonight, two teams the Bengals hate. Of course they were going to try and announce it today. The real question is did he get the extra penny or not?
It'd be fitting for someone on Reddit to break the news. That's the depths of trying to find something and being right (for a second time) would make him a go-to news breaker in the Cincinnati world. Forget waiting for one of the big names out there, Isayfujobu should be the only one allowed to break Bengals news. This is how you do investigative journalism though. You don't look at the standard places, you don't tweet into the void, you post on Reddit and be right, which seems to be trending that way.
And if we're all right about this being announced right around kickoff tonight, gotta give another point to the Bengals. Sure, the Chiefs are playing because they won another Super Bowl. But, no one and I mean no one is better at signing key players during that time than the Bengals. Basically the same as winning a Super Bowl.
