The Memphis Shitshow Grows - The School Had To Acknowledge An Anonymous Letter Accusing Penny Hardaway Of Major NCAA Violations (Still A Thing Somehow)

I know I like to make fun of Memphis, but come on, this is too easy. They are a full blown shitstorm now with someone sending an anonymous letter accusing Penny Hardaway of committing major NCAA violations. I don't even know how you can commit NCAA violations these days but Memphis is being accused of that. Oh and to add to it all, Penny did this a couple days ago:

I need to know who sent the anonymous letter. Was it one of the fired assistants? That'd be an all-time hate move if so. At some point someone has to step up and be the person who admitted they sen it. It wasn't me, let me be clear there. I would never do such a thing just to make fun of Memphis. They provide everything I need to make fun of them. Plus, I feel bad for Memphis. They are stuck in purgatory. Didn't get the invite to the Big 12, can't win or be relevant because of winning, everyone knew they were overhyped when they hit No. 10 in the AP poll last year, they are just there. 

All I know is it makes me feel good to cheer and bleed for a program that is clean. Nice to put my head on the pillow knowing this won't be coming to Lexington any time soon. But for Memphis, yeah, go have fun this year.
