Travis Kelce Is Starring In What Looks To Be A Terrible FX Horror Show
As ridiculous as seeing O.J. Simpson in The Naked Gun is, at least that's a great movie. While the Juice was a horrific monster, you have to give him some credit for picking good projects. Travis Kelce is one of the greatest tight ends ever and seems like a decent guy but man, he needs a better agent. I don't know what Kelce is thinking appearing in this dog shit that is so smelly, I can't imagine John Rich would even want to eat it.
SOURCE - After conquering the worlds of football and podcasting, Travis Kelce is gearing up to make his horror debut in Grotesquerie.
The latest trailer for the Ryan Murphy-created series sees the Kansas City Chiefs player teasing his mysterious role in the horror saga that sees Niecy Nash-Betts investigating a bloody crime spree. Kelce provides the intro for the official trailer, promising a couple of "familiar faces." As for the actual footage from the show, the NFL star appears briefly, ominously delivering the line, “There’s no future after this.”
He's right about that. There may not be a television or movie future for him after this. This trailer is so bad, it includes these lines:
“It’s inhuman. No. It’s un-human.”
"People want evil."
"I get a shiver in my quiver just thinking about it."
This is going to be awful. You have to give FX credit for going full Kelce Exploitation by having him introduce this trailer. I guess it wasn't enough having this trailer drop the night the NFL season starts. Creepy nuns! A Triple-A True Detective mood! This is kind of trailer that is so awful, you wonder why someone like Niecy Nash would do something like this. The paycheck must have been gigantic.
I know he's never acted before but this just feels beneath Kelce. He's dating the biggest pop star since Michael Jackson in his Thriller days and that might be unfair to Taylor Swift. She might even be bigger than Jackson ever was. I think Kelce's the best tight end ever. I know some people think it's Gronk but let's just all agree, he's at least in the argument. Travis Kelce is one of the biggest celebrities in the world and he's in something called Grotesquerie that Ryan Murphy wouldn't even show run. He just slapped his name as a producer.
I like Kelce. I have no idea if he can be a decent actor. Hopefully he can get better work especially as his career begins to wind down. He says there is no future in the trailer and maybe that's a better alternative than spending the rest of my days watching Travis Kelce in shitty trailers.
