Steph Curry Can't Stop Talking About How Much He Wants To Play With LeBron Again

It was only a few weeks ago that Steph and LeBron were sending signals via Instagram that they clearly wanted to play together, even if you had to read in between the lines of a collaborative IG post

Well now here we are again and Steph isn't exactly leaving it up to our imaginations

Now, you may be thinking this could mean anything. Maybe it means they plan on running it back in 2028 with the Olympics in LA, which we certainly can't rule out. I know LeBron will be in his mid 40s at that point but who are we kidding, he's still going to be the same LeBron we're seeing now.

Or, if you wanted to go the conspiracy theory route, it's hard to ignore what's transpired in terms of Steph Curry's recent extension that has him in Golden State until the 2026-27 season.

Why is that significant you ask? Well knowing that LeBron only really signs 1+1 deals at this point, guess who could also potentially hit the market after the 2026-27 season? All LeBron has to do is turn down his player option and sign another 1+1 and boom, now we're cooking with gas

Is it a long shot? Sure. But as NBA history has shown us, someone from Team USA is eventually going to join forces. It's inevitable and has happened with pretty much every iteration of Team USA for years now. To think nobody from the 2024 team will play together is foolish, and LeBron & Steph are sure acting like they're going to find a way to make it happen. Maybe that's in LA, maybe that's in GS, a lot can happen until then.

But at this point it's hard to ignore what's staring all of us in the face. I'm calling it now, before they both hang it up we're going to get at least one NBA season with Steph and LeBron as teammates. Don't worry about the money/cap stuff, you can figure that shit out later. Just don't be surprised in 2-3 years when this happens. A show like this is coming to an NBA arena near you at some point. Book it.
