This High School Ran the Most Genius Fake Punt in Football History

I don't know if this fake punt was designed by Thomas Downey High School's head coach, special teams coordinator or someone else, but whoever came up with this needs to have a job with a college football program or NFL team by Friday. The kids will understand.

Maybe this has been done somewhere at some point before, but this is the first time I've seen it and this is one of the most brilliant trick plays ever devised. Dictionaries need to replace Steve Jobs's picture next to the word "innovator" with whomever created the most perfect fake punt of all-time. That's real American ingenuity.

I need a college football team to try this immediately. Imagine Boise State being down a touchdown in the third quarter against Oregon on Saturday and breaking out this bad boy for a 30-yard gain and fresh set of downs. Cinema.
