Giants Fans Spent The Weekend Freaking Out That Josh Jacobs Turned Down More Money From Them, Picked The Packers Instead ...Story Turned Out To Be A Lie

Just a little whoopsie daisy! Hey, who cares about the fact the story had a whole thing about Josh Jacobs turning down money from the Giants, being offered the most money by the Giants and having everyone freak out. Just put out a tweet after the fact saying that whole thing never happened. No need to say anything else, just move it on to the next thing. 

Well, not on my watch! I'm here to defend Joe Schoen and the running back position. We just got done the whole Saquon saga that lasted far too long. Not Schoen's fault the idiots before him drafted a running back 2nd overall, which is one of the dumbest things you can do. Now you're trying to tell me that Schoen is going to throw all this money at Josh Jacobs? Come on. That right there should have been everyone's first clue that someone was lying here. Now I'm sure the Giants talked to Josh Jacobs to gauge where he was at in the market. Pretty sure that's the length of it all, they aren't going to offer the most money here. Gettleman handcuffed this team more than anything with salary cap hell and Schoen has spent the last couple years trying to work his way out of that. 

I know it's easy to make fun of the Giants now. We've stunk for far too long. But no lying on my watch! I will not sit back and take back fake stories about running backs.
