Have To Respect The Hell Out Of Ja'Marr Chase For Reportedly Wanting Exactly One Penny More Than Justin Jefferson On His New Contract

Goddamnit, I have no choice here. I love this move. We know Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase are good friends, we know their background at LSU and all that. They also are both awesome, there I said it. Two players are in fact really, really good at what they do. So that's why this move is even funnier. Earlier this summer we had Justin Jefferson signing the biggest contract for a non-QB while Ja'Marr Chase keeps holding out (or holding in, whatever, he's not practicing/playing). 

Again, it's a weird situation because Chase has 2 years left on his contract. Usually we see this when there's one year left. But, hey, go get paid. Not my team, not my problem. I'm just here to laugh at things like asking for 140,000,000.01. I want to live in a world where Chase just refuses to do anything until he bullies Mike Brown into giving him that extra penny. In fact he needs to embrace it now. We saw last year Chase wear the 7-11 chain once he called himself that claiming he's always open. Gotta do something with a penny during the entire season no matter how long he sits out for or whatever. 

Like I said yesterday, there's no way they don't get a deal done. It's Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow. You keep Burrow happy and get a deal done. It's going to be announced like they did with Burrow - the first drive during the Chiefs opening night game. I gotta tip my cap to the Bengals with this stuff, they are great at trying to instigate shit at all times. But for now all we can do is approve for wanting the extra penny. Don't you dare pay him more, just give him that penny.
