Jersey Wars: Florida Called For A White Out This Week Against Miami, Canes Promptly Announce They Are Wearing Their All-White Uniforms

Don't think it's an exaggeration to say this is one of the 3 biggest games this weekend. Two once-proud football schools just fighting to stay relevant. Florida fans want Billy Napier out, Miami isn't sure what to do with Mario Cristobal. You win this game, you set yourself up early on in the season. That simple. So Florida announces it's doing a white out. Whatever it takes in a rivalry game. Except one minor problem here. Miami saw it and announced this:

Love it. Rivalry doesn't sleep, especially when it comes to something like this. It's perfect for college football. It's also perfect for Florida. You can't announce the white out until you guarantee you're also wearing white. Now you're going to have Florida fans trying to follow this white out looking like they are cheering for Miami. Gotta switch it up fast to a blue out, which is what it should have been from the get go. Miami doesn't have blue in their color scheme, just go with what you have. Again, welcome to the Billy Napier era.

I do love the move to go with the Storm Trooper look, but I also firmly believe Miami will be back when they get back to the jerseys worn by at least Ken Dorsey.

Maybe even go back to Vinny Testaverde

Great color scheme, good logo, make it pop again. All I know is before week 1 starts Miami gets the edge.
