James Cook Is Going to Cook the NFL This Season!
Buffalo Bills starting running back James Cook is primed for a huge break out season this fall and you are going to want him on your fantasy football roster.
Why you ask?
The Bills were struggling mid season last year and fired Offensive Co-Ordinator Ken Dorsey on Nov 14th following an embarrasing Monday night loss to the lowly Bronos. QB Josh Allen was turning the ball over a ton as Dorsey was immune to calling running plays.
In that Monday night game, Cook had a strong 109 yards on only 12 carries yet Dorsey refused to run the ball more costing the Bills the game.
Enter new OC Joe Brady. Brady's game plan was to run the ball more to tone down the Josh Allen turnovers. In the final 7 games, Cook had 117 carries for 507 yards. He was also featured some in the passing game catching 26 balls and scoring 4 touchdowns.
Cook ended the season with a solid 1122 yards rushing. In 2024, Brady will be calling the plays all season long and Cook will be featured all season long. The Bills lost their top WR in Stefan Diggs as well.
The only negative on Cook's value is that Josh Allen steals goal line TDs. But if you are in the market for a running back going as the #13 back in fantasy drafts who will run for 1300 yards & add 600 yards receiving with 8-10 TDs....... well James Cook is your man!
