Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, And Anthony Edwards Were Reportedly Drug Tested Immediately Following Winning Their Gold Medal

Ah yes, the random drug test. This is something we see all the time whenever a player does something crazy on the court or decides to share some IG photos of them looking jacked as hell in an offseason workout, or is even maybe a victim of photoshop like when Alex Caruso had to be tested because a fake picture went viral. 

So it's the least surprising thing of all time to hear that Team USA, more specifically Ant, KD and Steph were tested immediately after winning Gold. I mean it makes sense, you see KD do what he did during the Olympics at his age and it doesn't make much sense. Even coming off his injury, KD didn't miss a beat. I'm pretty sure he went 9-9 in his first game back or some shit and was nails through the whole tournament. And then you get to Steph Curry and well..

given the way he went completely nuclear and put France to sleep, I can understand testing him not only for HGH or whatever, but also to confirm he's even human. It's desperate, but what other option do you have to try and invalidate the beatdown that Team USA put on? I'll admit, as I watched Steph Curry bury my favorite basketball team with a dagger three after dagger three and then shimmy/night night right in my eyeball I too have wondered how it could be possible that he's actually human. Same thing with LeBron who I'm sure was tested in Paris as well at some point. When I saw this look back in the day

I'm supposed to believe that's a normal human like you and me? OK pal. Whatever you say. I'm not sure how LeBron has skated these tests for 20+ years, but something's going on there. Then you factor in how dominant he was during the Olympic run and I'd bet my life he also had to pee in a cup at some point.

Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the results of those tests came back clean meaning that they really are just this good. What Steph did to France down the stretch wasn't the result of some sort of performance enhancer, it was simply a normal day of the week. That's the Steph Curry that rolls out of bed every morning. That's the Steph Curry who is watching the last moments of his prime be wasted by GS. KD is one of if not the greatest offensive players in basketball history for a reason. LeBron is arguably the GOAT. Sadly, the rest of the world still has a ways to go.

Which is why I can respect their last ditch effort to try and catch Team USA cheating. Not only is it funny, but it had to be very depressing to everyone else once it came back that those tests were clean and Team USA didn't need to cheat just to kick everyone's ass. That's just what we do when it comes to international basketball (when we actually send our best).
