It's All Happening! Someone Found A New Backyard Sports Page, All The Clues Say The Legendary Games Are About To Come Back

Hell yes! This is exactly what needs to happen, especially when you look around sports and see the players that are made for Backyard Sports. In baseball you have Ohtani, Gunnar Henderson, Skenes, Elly de la Cruz, etc. In football you have Mahomes, Chase, Jefferson, Daniel Jones, McCaffrey. Basketball you have Steph, Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson, Shai. You get the point. There was nothing better than playing Backyard Baseball and creating your team. Drafting Pablo Sanchez first overall was the only move you had before going Ken Griffey Jr. in the 2nd and Barry Bonds in the 3rd.

I know Jason Kelce has talked about reviving this and quite frankly I don't understand how it's already not out. You know what plays? Nostalgia. I still remember going to Toys R Us with a couple buddies to buy Backyard Baseball for the computer. It was a must have and cracking open that CD-style case and loading it into the family computer (before viruses riddled the thing and everyone told their parents they had no idea how it got there). I know it's not College Football, but Backyard Baseball played an integral part in people around the age of 33-40. You know the parks, you know the jersey combos, you know the name Wombats, it's something we all played.

I can't think of anything better to come out now, especially as a dad. You're telling me I can get a Backyard Sports game at 37 while on a bum wheel and smoke my two sons in a video game? Sign me up. Sometimes you need a break and switch up from College Football or something like that. Give me a whole Backyard Sports of every sport and bring back Mario Golf while we're at it. Every parent knows it's a cheat code when you can play a game like this with your kids and use it as an excuse just to play video games. Teach them how to play, beat their ass, practice when everyone is asleep.
