Nothing Embodies The Olympic Spirit Like This Video Showing Nikola Jokic Getting More And More Shitfaced Before Receiving His Bronze Medal

We know the story of Nikola Jokic and Serbia having a perfect day on Saturday. They played early, won bronze, got to celebrate for hours and then show back up on the podium nice and drunk. But this is the first video edit I've seen where you can see the progression. It embodies the Olympic spirit and I 100% believe that. The Olympics are about competing at the highest level internationally and then letting loose. No one did that more than Nikola Jokic. Dude was insane during the Olympics and then decided to get hammered. 

We've all been there. I don't care who you are, you've celebrated like this at least once in your life. That's why we all know that feeling Nikola Jokic had the moment he started getting grabbed on the podium. It's the same look I have if I have to rip a shot after a few drinks, it's a little warm or too crowded and someone for some reason wants to take a picture. We gotta stop taking pictures at a bar. Just go drink and talk to friends. Not everything needs to be documented. But all I want in that moment is a sip of water or a sip of vodka/soda just to get the taste out of my mouth. Instead I have to do the Jokic face, hold it all in, tell myself to act normal. 

I've been thinking about it and I really think Jokic is high on my list of athletes I'd want to drink with. Feel like you know what you're getting with Jokic. He's going to pound beer, you're going to talk horses, probably go see a horse race and dance. I'm not a dancer, but there's something that makes me smile about this giant dancing around to Serbian music. I'd sit back and watch for sure. But knowing the rich famous guy will bring you to the track? Sign me up.
