Eiffel Tower Stadium Is The Coolest Olympic Venue To Ever Exist (Paris 2024 Final Recap)
There really was, and will never be, anything like this. You have one of the most famous structures in the entire world: The Eiffel Tower.
You have the most iconic global athletics gathering in the history of the world, the Olympics... and you combine the two? That was just the beginning for the Eiffel Tower Stadium experience in Paris over the last two weeks.
I had the privilege of attending the final session of Men's Beach Volleyball last night, which featured the Germany vs. Sweden Gold Medal Match. It was hard not to get the chills as I first laid eyes inside the stadium, only to glance up and see a fully lit Eiffel Tower.
As the sun continued to set, my initial thought was confirmed: this was the coolest Olympic venue that the world has ever seen. You have athletes competing in the biggest event of their lives, and in addition to the 13,000 people watching you, the iconic building is also staring down every move.
That was the biggest highlight of yesterday's Olympics experience, and you can watch a full recap below...
Earlier in the day, I got the chance to attend the Women's Soccer Gold Medal Match: United States of America vs. Brazil. This was my first non-high school or college soccer game that I have ever attended, and it was an incredible atmosphere.
Great vibes that resulted in a red, white, and blue victory. Incredible.
PSA: If you're on the fence about whether or not to take a last minute trip to the Olympics, do it.
