Green Jacket, Gold Medal, Orange Jumpsuit, And A Baby: Scottie Scheffler's 2024 Deserves Its Own Documentary

The year 2024 for Scottie Scheffler is really something else, folks. The tweet above is a short summary of what has gone down for the best golfer in the world, but I wanted to put even more of a spotlight on it. Here are the highlights:

March 17th, 2024: Scottie Scheffler wins THE PLAYERS for the second straight year. 8-under on Sunday at TPC Sawgrass. A repeat at the fifth major. No big deal.

April 14th, 2024: Scottie Scheffler wins The Masters for the second time in three years. It was a tight field entering the final stretch, and then Scottie just flipped the switch and dominated. Winner at Augusta by four strokes. Ho-hum.

May 8th, 2024: Scottie Scheffler becomes a dad as his son, Bennett, is born. There were rumors that Scottie would depart Augusta early if the baby decided to arrive, but that never happened. Despite his incredible success on the course, I'm sure he'll look back at this as the biggest milestone in 2024.

May 17th, 2024: Scottie Scheffler arrested in Louisville, KY and booked on four charges, including second-degree assault of a police officer after his vehicle dragged an officer to the ground. The mugshot was released, and all charges were eventually dropped.

August 4th, 2024: Scottie Scheffler shoots a 29(!) on the back nine of the final round at The Olympics to win a gold medal. Just incredible.

Still to come? Scottie Scheffler is the FedEx Cup points leader by a large margin entering this month's playoffs, as he looks to secure another $25 million. He will enter East Lake with a massive advantage, so we will see how it plays out.

This man has had a year that has had its ups and downs (mostly ups), and deserves its own documentary.

2024: the year of Scott Alexander Scheffler.
