5-Star QB Dylan Raiola Showed Up to Nebraska's Fall Camp Looking Like a Patrick Mahomes Impersonator
If there was any way possible to get Nebraska fans somehow more excited about freshman QB Dylan Raiola — the No. 2 QB in the country in 2024 — it would be to have him showing up for the season looking like Patrick Mahomes on and off the field.
Any quarterback that tears it up in Lincoln would have that town in the palm of his hand, but if Raiola goes out there and lights it up while wearing No. 15 and rocking the Mahomes curly mohawk, things are going to be at a fever pitch. I guess most quarterbacks these days probably try to model their games in some way after Mahomes, but even some of Raiola's mannerisms out on the field look like the Chiefs' quarterback made his way into a Nebraska uniform and is doing one of those videos where he destroys college kids and then takes his helmet off to reveal who it was the whole time.
If Raiola is what he's cracked up to be out of the gate, there's a non-zero chance the Cornhuskers could travel to Ohio State on October 26 at 6-1 or maybe even 7-0 if a few things break the right way — the schedule is pretty light to start the year. And if that's the case, there won't be a school more on fire in the country than the University of Nebraska. Every kid in the state will be wearing a Raiola/Mahomes wig.
