John Elway Says The Biggest Mistake During His Time As Broncos General Manager Was Not Drafting Josh Allen

On today's Pardon My Take... JOHN ELWAY! The two-time Super Bowl Champion and Hall of Famer joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to talk about his iconic career, holding out in the draft, "the band is on the field" game, winning two Super Bowls, being an executive, his scouting, and tons more.

There were a ton of awesome topics that were discussed during this interview, but one that stuck out was about something that Elway *didn't* do during his time as Broncos General Manager. And it involved passing on one of Big Cat and PFT's very good friends who has a Rocket Arm. Take a look...

The guys are right. Josh Allen would have been a perfect fit for John Elway and the Broncos. Think of the tall QB's that Denver has had recently: Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler, Joe Flacco, etc. 

I'm sure there are regrets that GM's have all the time, but it's cool to hear Elway publicly acknowledge this one. Th Broncos have not been able to find consistent success at QB since Peyton Manning left, but maybe rookie Bo Nix can change things up in 2024.
