Watch This When You're High - The Montauk Project

iI's the 1980s, and we're talking about a secret government project that supposedly took place at Montauk Air Force Station on Long Island. The story goes that the government was dabbling in time travel, mind control, and even contact with extraterrestrials. 

The whole thing kicked off with a dude named Preston Nichols, who wrote a book in 1992 called "The Montauk Project: Experiments in Time."  He claims he was part of these secret experiments. According to Nichols, the project was an extension of the infamous Philadelphia Experiment, where the Navy supposedly made a ship invisible during WWII. The Montauk Project took it up a notch, allegedly working on bending time and space.

Nichols describes some wild stuff – kids being abducted and experimented on, creating psychic warriors, and even opening portals to other dimensions. There’s also talk of a "Montauk Chair" that could enhance psychic abilities and manipulate time. At one point, they supposedly summoned a beast from another dimension that went on a rampage. It’s like a mix of Stranger Things and Stargate.

Some folks swear there's truth buried in there, pointing to strange military activity in the area and old timers who hint at knowing more than they let on.

This doc is 2 hours long but it's a wild ride and worth it.
