'Biggest Circus I've Ever Seen' - Argentina's Manager Rips The Olympics For The Morocco/Argentina Shitshow And Player's Jewelry Being Stolen

In case you missed it earlier today we had one of the wilder soccer games. That might even be underselling it. Shitshow is correct. 

You had 15 minutes of extra time. You had a goal that would have tied it up which led to Morocco fans storming the field to protest the timing of the goal by throwing bottles and firecrackers. That led to the players being pulled off the field and everyone thinking it was ending a 2-2 tie. 

[Translation] - “It's a piece of history. Nothing like this ever happened. Morocco didn't want to play it and neither did we. We waited an hour and forty but no one told us anything. It makes you helpless because it is the Olympic Games.”

I can understand that. Everyone thinks the game is over, but this is a soccer shitshow we're talking about here. Instead they all had to come back out and play roughly 3 minutes in an empty stadium.

Oh and in that hour-plus delay they decided to review the goal and say Argentina was offsides. So they go back out there down 2-1, lose 2-1. Obviously Argentina is pissed. It was an hour-plus delay with everyone thinking the game is over. If that's not enough you had their manager happening to drop the players were robbed yesterday

[Translation] - “They never told us that a play was being reviewed (…) We are in an Olympic tournament, not in a neighborhood tournament. This cannot happen”: Javier Mascherano. “Yesterday they broke into training. “Almada's watches and rings were stolen”

Good start! This is what you want from one of the biggest names in soccer. Argentina out here calling you out for being a joke of a Tournament on day 1 and saying you can't protect people's stuff in training. I can't get over how big of a shitshow this is. I don't care where you are, how do you let people bring in firecrackers to an Olympic event? Pretty sure that's one of the few things you should check for. 

And now I fully expect an apology since Messi is getting involved
