Kyle Shanahan Offered Belichick A BAG to do ANYTHING for the 49ers

"I did, I threw it out to him," Shanahan said, via NBC Sports Bay Area. "He loves football so much that you never know what he ... I can't believe he's not a head coach of a team right now. I know what I would do if I was an owner so that shocks me and the last thing you want to do is insult someone like Bill Belichick. But I know he just loves ball in its simplest form, so I threw it all out to him, whatever he wanted to do, [including defensive coordinator]. I was like 'Would you be interested?' And he was very nice and appreciative and he politely turned me down."

Coaching is hard, and I could see how years of it can run a man down, but getting offered a ton of money to legit chill around the facility and throw out suggestions is almost a no-brainer. Like how do you not take that gig if your Belichick and hate the media? He now works for the media, surely a football guy like that should jump at the opportunity.

I think this legit indicates that Belichick has gone Hollywood. He is now a sugar daddy to a 23-year-old and has to spend big money. So he passes up millions to be the old guy who tosses out recommendations on a football team to be a talking head and date hot chicks. I guarantee he goes with the Leo Dicaprio U25 method. It's Bill Hollywood, not Bill Belichick. The roast changed this man. He is no longer a football guy, he's trying to be a mature model to outdo Tom Brady.

Sad day, Big L for Bill, thought he took one of the last Ls to the Jets but am now wrong.

Sort of a cuck move by Shanahan though. Guy was going to let another man coach his Superbowl team? While paying him handsomely for his role? Wild times. A REAL Head Coach never lets another man coach his team, that's how you end up passing the buck on responsibilities.

If you Christian McCaffrey or Nick Bosa, how can you trust a guy to lead you who tried to hire another man to basically alpha him. Inviting Belichick into your football facility is like inviting Guy Fieri into your kitchen, or Johnny Sins into your bedroom, you ain't dishing it out or serving it up.
