Joe Schoen Leading A Revolt Against John Mara's Crying About Saquon Barkley Is Exactly What Giants Fans Needed To Hear

What the hell happened to John Mara? He won two Super Bowls, he once felt like he knew what he was doing as an owner. Now he's out here arguing against taunting and trying to influence free agency decisions because of ... popularity? Buddy, have you watched Saquon play football? Even more than that, have you watched the Giants play football since Eli and Nicks and Jacobs and Bradshaw and Cruz, etc. The last thing and I mean the last thing the Giants should do is pay Saquon Barkley a ton of money because he's popular. What the fuck is that from him? 

All I know is Joe Schoen should be allowed to lead a coup, a charge, a revolt against John Mara from this one clip alone. It's clear John Mara isn't even concerned about money let alone winning. If he just wants to keep Saquon for popularity (you can say merch sales, but come on, it's the NFL. People will buy fucking anything), sure I get it. But it's about wins and losses. 

Again, see ya Saquon. It's not your fault you were drafted 2nd overall when you had no business being there. It's your fault you wanted a ton of money while tried preaching Giant for life. But now you're an enemy. Joe Schoen is smart enough to see it. I'm sure John Mara will cry when he sees you in an Eagle jersey. The rest of us? We'll boo, because that's what fans do.
