Dave Portnoy Almost Got Lost At Sea

Dave bought a boat and was taking it out for the 3rd time ever and unhooked his boat before checking if the engine and breaker were working. So he ended up floating out to sea, or the harbor of Nantucket. Very unfortunate situation. I do not know what type of Boat Dave has. I feel like it could be a Boston Whaler, but most likely something much nicer. The thing about boats is you don't really want a boat, you want to know someone with a boat. If you own a boat, you kind of just want something pretty simple like a Boston Whaler. I feel like if you are Dave everyone expects you to have a sick nice boat and not something simple. So you end up with something that is going to have more issues. Like you don't want to get a boat where you need a crew. Dave probably doesn't want a yacht with a crew because he wants a noncommittal boat relationship. I honestly feel bad for him because he can't just have an easy, cheaper boat that always reliably works, he needs to have something that does impress and isn't some Joe Schmo's boat. Now the coast guard has to save you in the middle of the harbor. 

It's emasculating but it's a symptom of suffering from success. Boat safety is important to make sure you are still tied up when you are starting the boat.
