Baker Mayfield Says He Was Drug Tested "Probably 11 Times" During The 2020 Season, The Same Year That The Browns Made The Playoffs For The First Time Since 2002

On today's Pardon My Take... BAKER MAYFIELD! QB1 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter live from Lake Tahoe to talk about his crazy past few years, finding a home in Tampa, random drug piss tests, seeing a UFO, and tons more.

The story that Baker brought up about being drug tested was one that caught my eye. You see anecdotes from NFL players all the time about how they were randomly selected to provide a urine sample after an epic performance the previous week. But in this case for Baker, he says that he was tested "probably 11 times" during the 2020 season. Take a look...

Hmmmm, why is it so significant that this just so happened to be the season that Baker got all these requests? Let's take a look at what the Cleveland Browns franchise decided to do during the 2020 season...

The Cleveland Browns having success? Something must be going on!

Anyways, it's great to see the turnaround that Baker Mayfield has had during his NFL career. With the weird ending to the chapter in Cleveland, he bounced around Carolina and Los Angeles, before having an incredible season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023.

Baker signed a 3-year deal worth $115 million just a few months ago. Not bad. Not bad at all.
