Source - Ellen DeGeneres is ready to walk away from show business. The comedian, 66, said that she’s “done” with being in the public eye after her Netflix stand-up special comes out later this year. DeGeneres made the declaration at her comedy show in Santa Rosa, Calif., on July 1.

“This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done,” she said, according to  SFGate.

When a fan asked DeGeneres if she’ll voice Dory again from “Finding Nemo” and “Finding Dory,” she replied, “No, I’m going bye-bye, remember.”

DeGeneres is currently on her “Ellen’s Last Stand … Up” tour. She recently canceled four shows with no explanation.

First of all, let the record reflect that I have done a complete 180 on Ellen. When news of her scandal first broke I thought she was a monster. The meanest most callous talk show host the world had ever seen. But the more I thought about it, the more people piled on, the more I started to take her side. So what she ran her show like war-time dictator? That's what made it so great. Her team was on top of their shit because if they weren't they'd be verbally browbeaten by the most powerful woman in show business…and the ratings reflected that. She was the number one talk show on television for years. You don't get those kinds of results by being nice. Having said that, I'm sure she could've toned things down a little.

Regardless, here we are two years after Ellen called it quits and she's calling it quits again. Only this time she's not quitting her talk show, she's quitting everything. Something she should've done after she made her first quarter-BILLION dollars. I just hope she goes out guns-a-blazin'. I want her Netflix special to burn the entire industry to the ground. A no holds barred flaming of all the people who canceled her. We'll have to wait and see whether or not that happens, but something tells me that Ellen is going to let that ugly personality of hers shine…and I can't wait. Thanks for reading.
