Huge Killers fan here. Sure, Mr. Brightside has been dubbed the white person anthem by numerous people and is one of the most sing-along songs out there. It's still a jam. Also makes me remember this tweet: 

Not wrong! But this is what you do when you're playing a show in London. They didn't have any other option. I'm kinda shocked that many Brits showed up to the Killers show during a match. There's nothing worse than trying to enjoy something when your beloved team is playing. I firmly believe that. I'm not talking about things like 'parenting' or 'hanging out.' I'm talking about being out at a concert or on a date or something along those lines where you're trying to enjoy something besides sports. Impossible to do. 

I may have gotten a bit off track there. Okay, back to the Killers and this moment. Mr. Brightside has become an anthem of sorts of numerous teams - including the Brits. So when you get the moment where that final whistle blows, your country advances to the Euro finals after taking advantage of an easy half of the bracket, you do what you know. You sing the everliving shit out of Mr. Brightside. A+ planning by The Killers too. Have the livestream going, stop it for the final seconds knowing you're about to bring the house down.
