NOOOOOOO: We Got Our First Report That Tiger Woods Turned Down Being The US Ryder Cup Captain In 2025
This is not what we needed to see our first day back after a little break. Think everyone basically believed Tiger would be the Ryder Cup captain in 2025 considering it's in the States and we know he's not making the team. But he's turning it down? We find out officially tomorrow at noon when they announce who it is, but what the hell is this man.
We got embarrassed at the last Ryder Cup. Not that it's extremely shocking considering we never win in Europe, but we were embarrassed. Zach Johnson was a disaster of a captain, no one really showed up, it was a mess. We need to do the same now in the States. We can't lose on home soil. We can't let Europe come to New York and keep the Ryder Cup. I can't think of someone better for that role than Tiger right now. He's going to be a captain at the Ryder Cup, we don't send him to Europe for his first time right? It had to be in the States.
I've said it before but I love the Ryder Cup. It's one of my favorite events in all of sports, especially when it's just a different style of golf. You get a different type of fan on the course, a true team event. I want to destroy Europe and we were supposed to have this group that dominated after we did just that at Whistling Straits. Maybe that's why we're bringing Stricker back for Bethpage. He was the captain of that 19-9 win. We know Europe is running it back with Luke Donald. But man, I just wanted Ryder Cup captain Tiger Woods in New York. We find out tomorrow at noon now.
