America's Soccer Savior: Tim Howard Is Willing To Fly To Spain Himself, Believes He Can Convince Jurgen Klopp To Be Our Next Manager

Tim Howard is on the short list for greatest American soccer players we've ever seen. Shout out what he did against Belgium that was overshadowed by Chris Wondolowski shanking that tying goal. So if Tim Howard is willing to fly to Spain himself and convince Jurgen Klopp to be our next manager, he's going to get my attention. In fact, I'm willing to call him a hero. This is the sort of stuff we need from American soccer players. We need BERHALTER OUT people speaking up. We need guys like Howard to hit the recruiting trail and pony up some of their own money to make it happen. I would, but I'm not rich. I'm a blogger.

It's fitting for all of this to start happening on the 4th. The 4th is about freedom, about our independence. It's about breaking free and being on our own, that's why we're also Matt Crocker out. It's why we're Cindy Cone out. It's why the whole US Soccer Federation needs a rehaul and there's no better man for the job than this fella.

I know Jurgen Klopp to USMNT sounds crazy ... but maybe not. There's too much smoke with his name being mentioned and now this starting to get bigger. Plus, you can get creative with the pay. Sponsorships, all that stuff help make up for the lower salary end.

All I know is clear house and let Tim Howard and Clint Dempsey take control. The two of them will be on a plane right this second heading to Spain and getting us Jurgen Klopp.
