Wild Story From NBA Draft: Kyle Filipowski's Family Is Apparently On Twitter Explaining He Was Brainwashed By His Mormon Girlfriend - Promptly Gets Drafted By The Jazz

Alright, I was waiting for the non-Bronny insane story from the NBA Draft and here it is. It was a little surprising that Filipowski fell out of the 1st round on Wednesday. Big dude, can shoot, good scorer, miraculously survived a court storm. A real wonder in that sense. 

Now we have some potential reasoning here. He is dating an older woman and apparently couldn't give satisfactory answers about the relationship during team interviews. Why? Well apparently on Twitter his family is explaining he was groomed, brainwashed and cut off from his family because of her. Yeah, that's batshit crazy enough. Oh and where does he go? 

The Utah Jazz. Come on. You can't make that up. I know Danny Ainge always just takes the guy who falls into his lap, but come on. This story and you end up in Utah? That almost sounds too made up to be real. 

Look, more is going to come out of this. This story doesn't break without people digging more into it. You have his brother apparently reaching out to Givony to give more of a story since no one knows everything going on. You're going to have the Jazz talk about it during the introductory press conference. All I know is this is the wildest NBA Draft story in a long, long time.
