John Calipari Being A Failure, Dan Hurley Being A Camera Whore - Skip Bayless Was Throwing Down Incredible Takes Like Only He Could On Draft Night

This tweet put me in a real pickle here. On one hand, Skip Bayless is an idiot. On the other hand, I love what he's thrown down here. John Calipari isn't my problem anymore. I don't have to defend him. I don't have to say things like 'well, it doesn't matter who starts a game, just who the hell plays minutes.' I don't have to jump around and move goalposts to trick my brain that it's going to work out. 

John Calipari failed last year. That's just a stone cold fact. He can say he cares about getting guys to the NBA. He can say it's about Reed Sheppard being viewed as a multi-year guy turned into the first college player drafted. But at the same time John Calipari refused to play Reed, Rob and Antonio Reeves as much as possible. I don't care that Rob/Reed were 3-for-14 in the NCAA Tournament game, the game plan was still atrocious. 

But it wasn't just Calipari insults. Skip decided he had ENOUGH of Dan Hurley. 

I don't think Skip Bayless has ever seen Dan Hurley before. Then again, this is only something Skip can throw down. Even the biggest UConn hater wouldn't go as far as this on draft night. Trust me, I wish I could. I want to hate UConn even though I love Hurley. 

The man knows how to stir up drama just for himself. It's really a gift, no matter how dumb he is. Again, I can't stress how unserious I take Skip Bayless but laugh at him firing off shit like this all night. Oh and just for old times sake, back to back:
