Of Course Bryson Is Carrying The US Open Trophy Through The Streets Of Nashville And To A Bar, It's Exactly What Any Winner Should Be Doing

I love this move. It's not even because of Bryson, I'm just a fan of letting everyone know you're a champion. I don't care if it's men's league, the sport, or the US Open. You have a trophy? You bring that bad boy everywhere. Actually, let's be honest, we're probably wearing a baggy free t-shirt that says champs on it somewhere. I'm pretty sure this is some sort of meet and greet or photoshoot or something media, but I don't care. Bryson rolling up to a Nashville bar with the US Open trophy is an awesome move.

The best part of winning something is reminding your friends you beat them. That's the sign of true friendship. Not being quiet about it, not being respectful, it's about reminding the closest people around you that you're better than them. Or at least you were better than them in that specific instance. I assume anyone who has won anything has a story of spending the night they won with whatever version of a trophy they have. It's all about embracing the moment when you win. I want to live in a world where winners get to brag and talk shit and celebrate.

I'd argue this is the most normal Bryson has been since winning the US Open. Just lugging it around like something you don't want to carry, but you want everyone to remember you won. That's normal behavior for a guy that wasn't normal for most of his career. Also think the first week is fair. You get like 5 days to travel with the trophy, show it off and celebrate. You win a major that seems fair.
