The Shampoo Dispenser In Hotels Is The Best Move They've Made In Years
I know these have been around for a few years now but I feel it's worthy to express my appreciation for them. In most cases all we do is complain about hotel- the pillows, the water pressure, the air conditioning, etc etc. For once hotels have made a very clear improvement we can all agree is a move in the right direction.
Listen, I'm not going to act like these things are life changing but they are for sure extremely convenient. Back in the day our only option was a minuscule bar of soap and a shampoo bottle that was good enough for one use max. You were lucky if you got conditioner at all. Now we have an abundance of product, clearly labeled and easy to access. This is a win for us. When you are on the road all you want is convenience and this is exacly that. It's good to see the hotel industry make a move to help people instead of hurt them.
Final thoughts … one more move hotels should consider is after…let's say 20 stays or even 50 of no issues with incidentals during your stay, maybe waive the hold on the card. Seriously, I know why they do it, but never once has there been an issue in any of the rooms I've stayed in, yet here I am still laying out hundreds of dollars for "incidentals". Why? Why not reward a customer and waive it? I don't think it will ever happen, but I just can't fathom if we're having no issues in hotel rooms why they still make people put $300 on a card when they have a proven track record of causing no issues. Plus it'll make me keep going back to the hotel to earn that perk. Get on that hotels.
