There's no room for Lane Thomas in our great sport that we call baseball. I'm all about showing emotion and wearing your heart on your sleeve, but these reckless tirades are bad for the game. What are children supposed to think when they see their favorite player go up to the plate and *checks notes* glances at an umpire? Talk about showing the guy up and embarrassing him in front of an entire stadium of fans. Can't have it. Have to imagine Lane gets a few games for this disgusting act. Let's hope umpire Emil Jiménez is able to emotionally recover from today's events.
