Halsey Revealed That She Has Been Diagnosed With Leukemia and Lupus

This is truly heartbreaking to hear. Halsey shared some clips on instagram documenting her journey while struggling with these diagnosis. It seems like she has been battling this for awhile, and had kept it hidden. She also put out a new single that reveals some of inner thoughts and feelings about this. The opening lyrics are:

Every couple of years now, a doctor says I'm sick
Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks
And then they lay it on me
And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain

She then goes on to end the song with insanely heartbreaking lyrics:

'Cause my treatment starts today

She has always been very open about her struggles mentally and physically. So I applaud her on continuing to be share her personal struggles with her fans and the public. She also recently had a child! I really, really hope Halsey can fight this and come out stronger!
