Sprinkles start spraying water in slowmotion with the beautiful mature trees lining the practice field, Eberflus is twirling a whistle with his new cool guy hair while yelling out some footballisms about HITS, the whistle blows and Caleb Williams is celebrating with Rome Odunze while Tyrique Stevenson is getting held back by teammates. Let that opening just wash over you because it is coming. 

The Bears are the Hard Knocks team for the first time in their history. Everything feels new and different around the Bears and that is a good thing. The Bears were the perfect choice for this series. There may not be a more compelling team in the NFL. Promise at QB, a historic franchise, major market, new expectations, new faces. They have everything HBO could ever dream about except for Rex Ryan. The Bears have always been the butt of NFL jokes, now they are the face of one of their premier products to start the year. Quite the turn around. I can't wait.
