SCOTTIE IS FREE: We're Finally Getting The Only Logical Outcome And Charges Against Scottie Scheffler Reportedly Will Be Dropped Today

There it is, the only logical outcome is happening. The hearing at 1pm today will be when it's official, but it's being reported all over Louisville now that the charges are being dropped. Not sure how you could do anything, but do find it hilarious that they had to add the stipulation that both sides won't pursue legal action. Pretty sure Scottie would win any sort of legal action if he wanted to do so and honestly kinda wish the cop Gillis wanted to pursue it so we'd see the pants. That's the only downside here, we will never get to see the $80 pants ruined beyond repair that may or may not have had some poop there.

Anyone with a brain knew the situation was - as Scottie called it - a misunderstanding. Still will go down as one of the most bizarre days in sports and a day that Twitter was unbelievable for. Everyone fired off jokes, we watched Scottie shoot a 5-under and then talk about stretching in the jail cell. I don't care how many majors Scottie wins going forward or what happens with his career, he was the best golfer in the world at his arrest and took a mugshot that will be used for decades. 

As of now we know the Louisville prosecutor will meet with the court at 1 and Scheffler's attorney is scheduled to talk at 1:30. But we finally seem to have Scottie free. Only logical outcome.
