The French Open Just Started Today And The 20th Ranked Women's Player Marta Kostyuk Already Won The Fit Of The Tournament

So this is going viral on tennis Twitter today and I have to concur with Bastien, who is basically the tennis equivalent of a Woj or Shams for those unfamiliar. The French Open just started today and like most round 1 matchups, there was nothing overly surprising that happened today. The good news is we have two whole weeks of this tournament and clay tennis always delivers. But this isn't a tennis updates blog. And I'm no Kelly Keegs but I do appreciate good fashion when I see it, and Marta is a fan favorite for various reasons with the primary being her partnership with Wilson who always seems to crush their fits.

Eyes are probably going to be a little bit brighter on the tournament this week, especially being that it's the first major since that Challengers movie released and made some extra casuals interested in the sport. I'll be the one to venture out and say that Marta is an awesome spokesperson for our great sport:

The men's field is the most wide open its been in 20 years, with a super top heavy women's draw, but why not Marta? As for her doubters who say that fashion doesn't win you games?

Well, Marta's moving on:

Go queen go!
