Dan Campbell Has A Strict No Busting Policy In Detroit This Year - Doesn't Even Know What Bust Is Because He Only Sees A Super Bowl

Part of me wants to know if Dan Campbell nails a quote like this, leaves the podium and just tells everyone he delivered yet another football guy quote. Then again, I have to remind myself this is just how Dan Campbell is wired. He doesn't even know what bust is. He's not going to let anyone bust in all of Detroit, probably all of Michigan this fall and winter. You gotta sacrifice for a Super Bowl. You think Dan Campbell has time to worry about whatever a bust is? Absolutely not. Probably drawing up a fake punt from his own 14-yard line again. 

I know people will think this is cocky, but what is he supposed to say here? Oh yeah, we're considering what happens if we bust. It won't feel good. I understand it's weird, we're not used to talking about the Lions as a favorite, but they are now. That's what happens when you make the NFC title game, bring back basically everyone, work on building up the backend of your defense and have Dan Campbell. It would sound weird to hear the Lions are in the Super Bowl, because it's the Lions, but it shouldn't shock anyone at this point. 

I'll keep saying it but football is better with guys like Dan Campbell out there. Too many coaches give us the same cliche bullshit. Campbell? He'll say what's on his mind. He knows what plays and how to deliver a quote. Good. Give us content besides 'we're working hard' or something like that during camp. Just know there will be no busting in Detroit.
