Melissa Gatto punches Tamires Vidal directly in the boob, and Vidal thinks she’s gonna get a minute to shake it off (like you would for a groin strike) - but that’s perfectly legal in the UFC! Tit shots galore here! Gatto followed the jug jumbler up with a few more shots for good measure and was given the TKO victory almost immediately afterwards, and we were given this hilarious visual….

Apologies to Vidal for laughing - I don’t mean to make light of this. I’m sure getting punched in the boob sucks. I just never thought I’d see a boobie punch KO in the UFC.

Now that it happened, though, could this be a breakthrough moment in women’s MMA? Maybe tit attacks will become more and more common, like how leg kicks exploded once they were introduced….or maybe the UFC looks at this and makes tit strikes illegal! Regardless, history was made tonight - and I'm glad I got to witness it live. The record books will never forget the first book punch KO.
