NASCAR Drivers Beef as Brad Keselowski, Ford Return to Victory Lane

The blue ovals are finally back in the win column following a rough start to 2024. Brad Keselowski has broken his 110 race winless streak and Ford's 2024 draught with an improbable win at the Goodyear 400 in Darlington.

It was Brad's teammate Chris Buescher who got the short end of the stick again however. Buescher and the team Keselowski co-owns, RFK Racing, couldn’t have been closer last week as they lost in heart breaking photo fashion.

Then again this week. Once again it was seemingly Chris Buescher's race to lose. He took the lead in dramatic fashion as we got a two for one pass over his team owner Brad Keselowski, and pole sitter Tyler Reddick late in the race.

And Buescher held first until Tyler Reddick lost control trying to take it from him with 10 laps to go. Both Reddick and Buescher suffered damage bad enough to allow Keselowski to steal the win late.

Brad Keselowski returns to victory lane at Darlington for the first time since his win at Talladega in 2021.

And while Keselowski couldn't be happier that his RFK owner-driver efforts have finally shown dividends, his teammate Chris Buescher was understandably upset with Tyler Reddick.

What a weekend from Darlington. Throwback schemes. Throwing hands. Broken streaks.

You have to imagine both Ford and Brad K can take a deep breath now that they have finally gotten back to victory lane.

Ford, who was winless across NASCAR's top three series through the first 12 weeks, have finally found a breakthrough.

Same can be said for Brad K, who left Team Penske to become a co-owner of RFK Racing in 2022. Despite his teammate winning 3 races last year, and Ford drivers winning the last two NASCAR Cup Series Championships, Brad couldn't get the monkey off his back quick enough.

Tune in to Rubbin is Racing this week for our interview with Dale Jr. and a full recap of the Goodyear 400 at Darlington.
