Brian Windhorst Says Cavs Fans Should "Clear Their June Calendars" As Cleveland Can Win A CHAMPIONSHIP If Evan Mobley Keeps Playing Like This

So if you see the date at the bottom of this tweet in which Brian Windhorst calls out Evan Mobley for not performing up to expectations, it is May 9th. That is literally yesterday. As of yesterday, Brian Windhorst was not an Evan Mobley fan. And I'm not saying he was wrong, but you can't mince his words when he says things like "you can make excuses for him from now until the sun goes down". The man was anti-Evan Mobley.

Fast forward literally 18 hours, in which Evan Mobely put on a fucking MASTER CLASS of a performance in Game 2 against the Celtics, filled with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists (youngest Cav since LeBron to have a 20/10/5 game). He was +35 on the court against the #1 seed in the East, on their home court, in which Cleveland was 13 point underdogs. A performance like that, the day of being called onto the carpet by a national media member, from northeast Ohio and that has covered the Cavs, was worthy of the "I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHERE BRIAN WINDHORST IS RIGHT NOW" meme that circled Cleveland social media all night last night.

Some are saying this morning that it was the best game Evan Mobley has ever played in a Cavs uniform. And that list of people saying that includes…..Brian Windhorst.

Wait, CLEAR YOUR JUNE? Folks, the only series that will be playing in June is the NBA Finals. Talk about a fucking flip flop on takes by Windy. And I get it, he's kind of adding to his original point. If Mobley plays like he has the potential to / how he's expected to, the Cavs would be much better. And if he does do that, he says the Cavs can (gulp) WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP THIS YEAR!

Ugh, now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I'm not going to listen to his bullshit, then I cannot listen to his praise. Besides, the Cavs are still +700 to win this series and +100000 to win the NBA Championship. I think it's best if Cleveland fans all just stick to listening to only what Windy actually knows best….lunch.
