Belts On The Line: R-Truth Challenged Dan Hurley And UConn To A Tag-Team Title Match On Raw, Need Hurley To Embrace His Calling As A WWE Star

Nothing and I mean nothing is hotter right now than wrestling. It's everywhere. I mean, shit, TNT used the nWo Wolfpac theme song last night during the Wolves ass kicking of the Nuggets! You have names all over the place showing up in the wrestling world and now that includes Dan Hurley. The man was made in a lab to be in wrestling. This guy? Yeah give him a mic and let him go.

Look if the Miz can go from Real World and The Challenge to a successful WWE star, surely Hurley can too. He doesn't even need to wrestle that much. Just let him be the manager for someone and he's basically the next Paul Heyman. Plus, I wouldn't hate getting him away from UConn for a little bit. Don't care for what he's building there at all. That or let him do both. Either way, we need Hurley in the WWE.

I don't care that Dan Hurley is just 51 years old. Billy Gunn is still wrestling! Sting just retired! Hell, he's younger than R-Truth! He's got plenty of time. Give him a spot at SummerSlam and let him fight for the tag team title. Or have R. Truth do his bit of mixing up who Hurley is and get Hurley in the corner with Awesome Truth. They are a great tag team and you throw Hurley on the mic and we've got a perfect group on the mic. He doesn't even have to leave Connecticut for some of the time!

I can't stress how good this new era of wrestling has been. Every Raw and Smackdown has delivered lately. The storylines are building perfectly. Wrestlemania was one hell of a show and building towards SummerSlam. Now we just need Hurley to embrace his role and take some time off of college basketball. He's been tweeting about how much he hates dealing with the portal, get away from it and get in the ring. Belts on the line.
