WrestleMania Will Be In Las Vegas Next Year (And Avoid Final Four Weekend)

After a lot of back and forth and rumors about it taking place in Minneapolis (and even London), it was officially announced today that WrestleMania 41 would be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at Allegiant Stadium on April 19th/20th, 2025. That's the latest into the year WrestleMania has ever been held as well (previously it was April 10th/11th for 37 in Tampa), reportedly due to Nick Khan wanting to avoid going head-to-head with the NCAA Final Four again.

As somebody who has been to 10 WrestleManias and on probably 20 trips to Vegas in my life - I think it's gonna be perfect as a WrestleMania host city. WrestleMania weekend consists of so many shows/events in different sized venues across whatever city the WWE invades, and the most important thing for a good weekend in my experience is everything being close/centralized. Smaller cities like New Orleans/Philly were great - New York/New Jersey is always a pain in the ass, however. Some events in Brookyln, some in Manhattan, some on Long Island, some in Jersey....it's nuts. With Vegas, you'll have events pretty much exclusively on the strip - and all of the hotels/taxis are there too! It's gonna be super easy to navigate....and super debaucherous on 4/20 weekend.

They actually ran Allegiant Stadium for SummerSlam weekend just a couple years ago, and it was a blast. We walked right from the stadium to the afterparty when the show was over.

I don't know what happened that could've caused Minneapolis to lose out on the show, considering they were rumored to be "ready to announce it" during WrestleMania XL last month, but that's brutal for you guys up North. Maybe they'll follow up for WrestleMania 42.

P.S. WWE Backlash was in France earlier today and the crowd was, without exaggeration, one of the best in wrestling history....

They need to run WrestleMania in Europe one day - it'd be the best WrestleMania audience ever.
