Gunnar Henderson Is Not Only The Leader For AL MVP But He's Also A Huge Star Wars Nerd And Showed Off This Awesome Looking Custom Star Wars Bat

I'll be the first to admit that I don't get people's fascination with Star Wars, space stuff doesn't do it for me. But if Gunnar Henderson and the Orioles young core are about it, I can become a changed man. Future AL MVP, Gunnar Henderson, showed off this prettttty sick looking custom lightsaber bat from Chandler Bats today ahead of their game vs the Reds on May the 4th. Again, Star Wars doesn't move the needle for me but I can get behind it if the guys are all for it. The only shame is MLB won't let them use these bats in a game. We'll have to see if they let him use it for Players Weekend. But again, if baseball had the pulse of their players they would let them use stuff like this since it's fun and it gets the fans going.

I don't know who the people are on the bat but man it looks sick, half red half blue down the middle with the lightsaber handle? Yeah this is awesome. I'd love for Clem or Robbie to explain to me why these guys are on the bat and who they are but I'll settle for just looking at how cool it is. Guess it would be unfair to the pitcher if they allowed Gunnar to use a lightsaber bat due to the potential damage it could cause. But again, not a space guy, dinosaur guy here but this is a pretty awesome looking custom bat. Some cool May the 4th themed stuff floating around but this is by far the best one. Just let the guys have fun and let Gunnar use it!
