BOOM! Ohio State Basketball Has Landed Their Second 5-Star Transfer In Duke's Sean Stewart

BOOOOM!!! The rich get richer. And I know what you're thinking: how does this ONE player, even if he was a 5-star recruit and the #5 forward in last year's class, change the trajectory of a middle of the pack Big Ten team that didn't even make the NCAA Tournament last year? You're right, but it's not just this guy that we got in the portal....

Holy fucking athleticism. Now add him with our other new found toy, and our other former 5-star, and our other McDonalds All-American from the 2023 class, Mr. Aaron Bradshaw from Kentucky.

So the Buckeyes added two 5-stars (one #5 at his position and one #5 in the entire country), along with a 2nd team All-SEC guard returning home in Meechie Johnson, plus another athletic defender in Micah Johnson….I don't know guys. I think this team is going to be pretty damn good. Is Ohio State really about to roll out this starting lineup next Winter?

1 - Bruce Thornton

2 - Meechie Johnson

3 - Micah Parrish

4 - Sean Stewart

5 - Aaron Bradshaw

…and we still have a scholarship left to play with.

Experienced guards playing with multiple athletic big men? Sign me the fuck up. And I know I'm probably coming across as a cocky Ohio State fan, but how couldn't I? We get our #1 coaching target in the highly coveted Jake Diebler, and he immediately retains our best player, gets rid of the fat in Roddy Gayle Jr, and adds multiple 5-stars. People chirping about hiring a first-time head coach and he comes in and immediately dominates the portal. What would Calipari have done differently….? We're getting dudes AND we're going to get them to play hard AND together. I'm sold. In fact, I may be more optimistic about the Basketball Buckeyes than I am with the football ones right now. JK, but close…

** Up to #15 in the Rothstein rankings. Not bad for a team that dropped to 4-10 in the conference and fired their coach about 2 months ago.
