This Mets Fan Who Got Tossed From $1 Hot Dog Night For Simply Having Too Much Fun Deserves To Be In The Hall Of Fame

NY Post- Apparently this fan did a little too much hot doggin’.

One indulging Mets fan was removed from his field-level seat during Tuesday’s $1 hot dog night seemingly because fans started throwing hot dogs his way.

“ so this guy was just all about the $1 dog night. Totally embraced it,” fan account @The7Line posted to X on Wednesday morning. “The story goes… in the 9th inning everyone started throwing their extra dogs at him. Cops had to toss him so everyone else would stop. He wasn’t thrown out for having a good time and apparently left without incident.”

One fan posted a photo of the fan in question on the train after the game with a hot dog hat and his shirt that said in blue writing “Bad day to be a Glizzy”, meaning bad day to be a hot dog, with a running tab of hot dogs consumed and beers drank, with Beers seemingly holding a 10-9 edge.

Fans started chanting “Let him eat” and “booed” his removal, while he slapped hands with some fans and waving his hands to encourage them.

I am all about keeping asshole fans out of ballparks and stadiums. The guys who leave their house looking to get in a fist fight at. game are GRADE A LOSERS. I'm not saying everyone in a fight at a stadium is a loser, I am however saying the certain guy who wakes up and decides going to a game isn't enough to get his juices flowing, he needs to go to the game and get in a fistfight ... sucks. The worst.

The people who go to a game and chant obnixous shit or racist shit and curse in front of kids suck, the people who do the wave suck, the people who never stop going up and down out of their seat ... suck. We need to do everything possible to keep people like that out of a ballpark or a stadium. They ruin it for everyone.

This kid ... is not the worst at all. In fact he got as raw of a deal as anyone. So the way the story goes, the kid showed up trying to hammer some hot dogs and enjoy some cold beverages on a spring night. It was $1 dog night and he came looking to get his money's worth. No harm no foul. Made a shirt with his goals, got the fans involved, behaved etc. Then other fans got a little too excited and started tossing their hot dogs at him, the only way to keep them under control to toss him.

How is that fair? It's not like he was begging for the extra dogs, he didn't tell them throw them, yet he has to pay the price. An injustice! A travesty! Bring him back and end this bullshit right now. The guy went to the game and had fun, if that's a crime sue us all. Absolute joke.
