Torrie Wilson Showing Up To The WWE Draft Is Just More Proof That Wrestling Continues To Dominate The World
Forgive me for just catching up on last night's WWE Draft, but this is what happens when you have kids and chase them around until they finally fall asleep. That said, the WWE Draft was happening last night (in beautiful Cincinnati). Wrestling is all over the world right now. People talking about Will Ospreay/Bryan Danielson's AEW match, Tony Khan showing up in a neck brace for the actual NFL Draft, the ending to Wrestlemania. It's everywhere and frankly it's awesome.
But Torrie Wilson being back? That means we're back. This is part nostalgia blog, part wrestling. Growing up you heard the words Torrie Wilson and someone was ready to argue for hours on end with names like Stacy Kiebler, Sable, maybe even a Lita. Quick break to remember those times.
And now we have Torrie Wilson at 48 coming back out for round 2 of the WWE Draft. I love it. During the NFL Draft we had guys like Tiki Barber and other former players out there, makes sense to bring back names everyone knows and loves. I'd argue that they may have even upstaged the NFL legends making picks.
I keep saying it, but it's a good time to be a wrestling fan. Don't let people make fun of you for still liking a show, no matter your age. We know it's fake. You know what else is fake? Dragons! Every other show people watch. It's all fake. The only difference is ours delivers every week. You get the mix of nostalgia and current guys. It's perfect. Wrestling is dominating the world. Shout out Torrie Wilson for reminding us.
