'I Knew They Couldn't Call A Foul There' - Thibs Doesn't Give A Shit About The Refs 2-Minute Report, He's More Concerned About The 46-Minute Report
This right here is a man who knows ball, winning and how to get role players to show up in the playoffs. There's a reason the Knicks are up 2-0 in this series and that's because of Josh Hart, Isaiah Hartenstein and Deuce McBride. This man is also a genius for this quote. I don't know why the NBA decided to focus only on the last 2 minutes. You're telling me this doesn't deserve some sort of treatment of the Internet freaking out a day later?
Not to mention, you're telling me we're NOW supposed to believe that refs know what the hell they are doing? Just because they used a day to put out a 'report.' Not me. Not Thibs. It's almost like fouls are the same no matter what. A point is a point, etc. That's why Thibs cares more about the 46 minute report than the last 2 minute one. If the NBA still had any balls, they'd deliver a full report directly to Thibs about the first 46 minutes. Or just listen to Josh Hart
And for any Philly people still crying, listen to one of your own:
It's almost like Kyle Lowry could have called timeout instead of panicking to throw it in. Or Nick Nurse could have called timeout after the made basket from Brunson instead of being shocked it went in. Common sense stuff like that, you know. Instead one team panicked, made excuses, kept on forgetting how to rebound and lost the game. The other team hit free throws, hit threes, went balls to the wall. Fuck the 2 minute report. Give us the 46 minute report.
