The Sixers Just Suffered Their Most Heartbreaking Loss Since Kawhi Leonard Took Everyone's Souls In 2019

Actually unreal. Yup, the Sixers were up by double digits in the first quarter again and also led by 5 with under 30 seconds left. Naturally, s/o God, the Knicks scored 8 straight points in 27 seconds in one of the most unbelievably sad sequences these eyes have ever seen in the playoffs. Look at this shit. LOOK AT IT: 

Good GOD. What a completely syphilitic series of events. Of COURSE this was the only time all series the rim decided to completely suck off Jalen Brunson from here to East Jabip. Tyrese Maxey was expecting a foul and for some reason just hit the deck, even tho the refs completely ignored Nick Nurse attempting to call a TO:

Then - SHCOKER - the Knicks completely emasculate the Sixers on the offensive glass to give one of the most dangerous/clutch 3-point shooters in the world not one, but dos chances at the lead. Look at this boxing out effort from FUCKING 16-YEAR VETERAN Nic Batum. LOOK AT IT AGAIN:

It's embarrassing. 

Yes, Joel Embiid is playing at maybe 60% at best. Yes, the Knicks play their balls to the bone and are at home. Yes, Philadelphia is for some reason cursed until the end of time. But come on, gentleman. When Isiah Hartenstein takes your lunch and calls you a bitch on literally every single possession, you gotta at least try to locate and box him out. 

Just an absolute disaster all around. Nobody deserves this. Especially Tyrese Maxey feeling the Flu Game with 35 points, 10 assists, and 9 boards. The Prince that was promised scored the first 9 points of the game and hit (in a civilized, fair reality) what should of been the game dagger from deep late in the 4th: 

It ain't over. Not by a long shot. The Sixers can easily tie this puppy up at 2-2 before you know it and we'll have a whole new series on our hands. But, man, this one hurt. Bad. Not only that, but if the Sixers were to win this series it would legit need to be done through an all-out war vs. this Knicks team who just doesn't take a single play off (respect to them for that). How's Embiid's knee going to survive the next round if this bitch goes 7? It ain't over, but it still ain't good.
