Hitting Big Shots To Mocking Jalen Brunson - Josh Hart Is The Exact Player Every Single Knicks Fan Has Dreamt Of For Years

Clem wrote about the game last night, read that above. I wanted to spend a moment to talk about Josh Hart, because he's everything we've dreamt of as Knicks fans. He showed up like this for game 1:

The man just delivers. That's the only thing you can say about Josh Hart. Is he the best player? Of course not, not when his best friend is on the roster. But you could make a legit argument that there's no more important player than Josh Hart. Look at what he did last night: 

13 of them came in the second half. Most of that came in the 4th quarter. Clutch shot after clutch shot. Rebound after rebound. The dude is everything we want as a Knicks fan. He's the guy who will mix it up, just go play basketball and more importantly mock our best player. 

Perfectly executed damn. I know people compare him to John Starks because of the number 3. But this video? Come on. As a man who grew up on the 90s Knicks, this is the ideal video. 

He's not dumb, he knew what was going to happen. He just had the gigantic balls to step up and drill the shots. 

We shouldn't be surprised the man knows how to show up in the Garden. He did it his entire career at Villanova. He's done it ever since he became a Knick. The man is the definition of grit. He's a little crazy and more importantly he's ours. I don't care if it was just game 1. You need to win that game, especially winning one where the best players were some combo of Hart, McBride, Bogdanovic and Robison.
