Ohio State Reportedly Spent Over $34 Million To Piece Together This Group Of Players And Coaches For This Season
I'm not going to beat around the bush here. Ohio State, although like 1000-3 over the last three years, has been an embarrassment to both college football and more importantly, the state of Ohio. And it's no secret that if Ryan Day doesn't beat Michigan this year, he's gone before they even get back into the locker room. I don't care if we're 11-0 again when it happens. So while we could just continue to do the same shit we've been doing and beating the Indianas and Penn States of the world until we get bullied at the end of November, we're going to try something new: buying ourselves a championship.
It wasn't cheap, I'll tell you that! But why is everyone chirping us for this....? What do you want us to do, sit around and accept it? Some school's take their darkest moments and hire Navy seals to cheat their way back to prominence. I have zero problem with that. We have chosen to take an alternative route, and we're going to spend a billion dollars and put the most talented team on the field.
(Bloggers Note: I think we had the more talented team at the end of November in at least 2 of the last 3 years, probably all 3, but it still didn't matter)
How much money does it cost to increase our toughness? Because of the alleged 34 million we're spending on the team this year....ain't none of it's gonna matter if we're still pussies.
That hurts to read. Fuck, we were better than them. It's just Jim Harbaugh had his boys more ready to play and more ready to fight than Ryan Day did. If anything, the fact that we're paying 34 million for our team this year is not crazy at all, it's that we're paying Ryan Day 10 of it!!! Let's get 5 of the biggest baddest dudes on the O-Line and give them 2 million each, and then I'll coach the team. We're a tough line away from cakewalking to the title, in my humble opinion. Because I'll say this: as of April 16th, I do feel very good about this season. I think we're going undefeated, kicking the shit out of a much worse Michigan team, and fifty piecing our way to a National Championship. But I've also felt that way three years in a row….
